Scientific activities of the Department of Algebra and Discrete Mathematics are focused mainly on the fundamental and applied research in mathematics. The results are beeing published in mathematical journals and in proceedings of international conferences (see mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt fuer Mathematics). The staff is also actively involved in research projects and grants.
